IRS Announces 2025 Standard Mileage Rates

The Internal Revenue Service has announced the standard mileage rates for 2025. The rate will be 70 cents per mile for all business miles driven after December 31, 2024. This is an increase from the 67 cent rate that was in effect for 2024. However, the standard mileage rates for medical and moving expenses as well as for charitable purposes remain unchanged at 21 cents per mile and 14 cents per mile, respectively.
