With more than ten years of industry experience, Shawn is a valuable resource for his clients in relation to accounting, auditing, and tax issues that arise. His experience relating to financial institutions includes Public Company Accounting Oversight Board quarterly reviews, mutual-to-stock conversions, regulatory compliance, and holding company formation. Shawn’s clients include banks; thrifts; credit unions; and trust, brokerage, and mortgage banking companies. Shawn has performed and managed audits of varying sizes and types for a wide array of financial institutions, with assets ranging in size from de novo to multibillion-dollar. Within the office, he has shown a strong interest in staff training and development.

Shawn is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a major in accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ National Banking School, where he gained additional expertise on various topics relating to financial institutions.  Shawn is a member of several professional organizations, including the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
