Early in my career it
became evident in working with business owners and company management how important
reducing a taxpayer's tax burden was to the long-term success of the business.
It also became apparent to me that effective tax planning strategy always had
to consider the impact such strategy had not only in the current year, but future
years as well. While tax law is a highly technical area, business owners and
shareholders are interested in the practical application of the law to their
specific circumstances. Having helped numerous clients save money by paying attention
to the details and utilizing the tax law to their advantage has cemented many
relationships that have benefited both the client as well as our firm over the
last 25 years. In many cases I now work with multiple generations of business
owners and families helping our clients make decisions that affect their businesses
or lives in significant ways. At the end of the day there is no better feeling
than knowing you have done your best to help a client realize their goals, whether
they be business, tax or family goals.
