Harry Bertrand has a combination of audit, accounting and consulting experience
and knowledge needed to help financial institutions achieve their greatest results.
Each client we represent has specific strategic objectives they have identified
to enhance their franchise value, develop services to meet the needs of the communities
they service and to provide opportunities for all of their employees to prosper
and have fulfilling professional careers. Harry works with the management of
financial institutions not only in helping them to understand the complex accounting
and reporting requirements affecting their business but also to provide sound
business advice to help them achieve their strategic success. Harry has extensive
experience in working with clients that have filing requirements with the Securities
and Exchange Commissions in relation to annual and quarterly filing requirements,
as well as, initial stock offerings and other related registrations. Harry has
a worked with a variety of size financial institutions and has the expertise
needed to understand, interpret and assist clients in complying with complex
accounting issues affecting the financial institution industry.
Experience
Harry has over twenty years experience working with community financial institutions
of all sizes, both institutions that have filing requirements with the SEC and
those more closely held. After graduating from Slippery Rock University Harry
worked for four years as an internal auditor with a large regional financial
institution, Harry joined S.R. Snodgrass in 1985 and now directs the audit practice
of the financial services group. Harry also is on the Board of Directors of S.
R. Snodgrass and serves as the chairman of the firms A & A committee. Harry has
extensive experience in working with Snodgrass clients in the areas of audit,
accounting, SEC registration and annual reporting requirements, stock offering
registrations, business acquisition pricing and policy development.
